On December 2nd, 2022, after over 7 months of operating their weapons manufacturing and trafficking empire out of the extensive tunnel system built underneath the Vultur Le Culturé Gallery, Chang Gang had met the end of the line, as Deputy Commissioner Sam Baas, along with Chief of Police Brian Knight, had gathered enough evidence through months of investigative work, to proceed with a search and seizure of the Gallery and the warehouse connected to it.
Prior incidents involving several kidnappings and torturing of Mayor, and ex-member of Chang Gang, Mickey S, had taken place in the tunnels. During the final kidnapping on November 20th, 2022, Mr. K made several phone calls to Sam Baas, which resulted in Baas filing for a subpoena of the location in which the phone calls were made from. In the following days, Baas had a rough triangulation that pinned it down to an area in Rockford that the Gallery and the warehouse were located in. With this information, Baas was able to get a search warrant signed by Chief Judge Crane.
The raid was carried out and subsequently resulted in an intense shootout in the tunnels between members of Chang Gang, Mr. K, Garrett, Taco, Randy, Vinny, Ramee, Francis, and a team of Police Officers under the lead and command of Sam Baas.
Chang Gang was met with defeat, and the resulting search would to tie up several investigations, including the discovery of the weapons bench that fed Chang Gang's immense gun empire, as well as the torture chamber used against Mickey S. All charges were put on the docket with a pending trial for the involved suspects, as well as any further suspects that may arise from the coming investigation.
The Vultur Le Culturé Gallery and warehouse are to be seized by the State, with the tunnel system being destroyed. Although in preparation for this, Ramee had a new location for Vultur Le Culturé made in Little Seoul, which is still awaiting a reveal and grand opening.
